Terms of Service

Last updated: August 20, 2026

By using GPACal, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GPACal (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and other individuals who access the Service. If you are using GPACal on behalf of an institution or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

GPACal provides a collection of free online academic calculators including but not limited to GPA calculators, CGPA calculators, grade calculators, percentage converters, and academic planning tools. These tools are provided "as is" for informational and educational purposes only. The Service requires no account creation, subscription, or payment to access.

3. Accuracy of Results

While we strive to ensure that every calculator on GPACal uses accurate and up-to-date formulas, we do not guarantee that results will be identical to those produced by your specific educational institution. Grading scales, GPA policies, and credit-weighting systems can vary significantly between universities, colleges, and regions. Always verify your official GPA with your academic registrar before making decisions based on calculated results.

4. Educational Use Only

All tools and information on GPACal are intended strictly for educational and informational purposes. GPACal results should not be used as a substitute for official academic records, nor for any legal, financial, scholarship, or admission decision without verification from the relevant institution. We expressly disclaim any liability arising from decisions made based solely on results generated by our calculators.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use GPACal for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems; (c) use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract content from GPACal without prior written consent; (d) misrepresent calculated results as official academic records; or (e) engage in any conduct that could harm other users or the platform's reputation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on GPACal — including but not limited to text, layout, code, design, calculator logic, and blog articles — is the intellectual property of GPACal and protected under applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from any GPACal content without express written permission. You are welcome to share links to GPACal pages for non-commercial educational purposes.

7. Third-Party Links

GPACal may contain links to third-party websites or resources for reference purposes. We provide these links as a convenience and do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, legality, or practices of any third-party sites. Accessing external links is at your own risk and governed by those sites' own terms.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of GPACal at any time without prior notice. We may also update or change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of GPACal following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

GPACal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPACal disclaims all warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GPACal, its owners, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
